Explanation:

This newspaper survey has a few potental problems, to begin with, the population this survey is reaching will most likely not reach the target group. In this situation only families that read this web-based paper will be seeing this survey and the majority of parents assume their kids do not partake in drugs, meaning this is a sample bias. One good thing about this situation is the random sample, each option is equally likley to be chosen. The anonymity of the survey could make it less reliable, anybody could answer it so we don't know what majority of the answers are real. Adding to that the representative sample could be similar to the anonymity problem.
