During the prophase, mitotic spindle begins to form. the chromosomes start to condence and the nucleus disappears.

During the metaphase, the chromosomes align themselves in the moddle of the cell. They form a metaphase plate by this alignment.

During anaphase, the sister chromatids are pulled towards the opposite poles by the microtubules.

During the telophase,  chromatids have been equally divided to each part. Hence, the mitotic spindle breaks down. Nuclear membranes forms again around the two daughter cells.
