Greeks wanted the perfect depiction of the people whereas the Romans wanted a real life people. Greek statues were of a perfect humans but the Romans sculpted all the raw human emotions flawlessly in their statues.

Greeks colonized along the Mediterranean sea  but Romans conquered the whole Mediterranean region. Romans built roads to connect the whole empire but the Greeks did build to connect cities and improve internal trade. roman empire survived five hundred years and Greece was a congregation of small states and was filled with internal chaos and conflict until annexed by Alexander the Great.

In Greece women were considered to be a property with no rights to claim whereas in Rome women were not considered to be  a property but they were not given any rights. Greeks spoke Greek but Romans spoke Latin.
