Read the speech, "Childhood Obesity." Critique this student’s use of supporting materials by answering the following questions: Was his use of supporting materials effective? Why or why not? What other supporting materials could this student have used to improve his speech? Be specific.

Respuesta :

Answer: I think the writer's use of supporting materials was effective because it gave a good scenario of the problem caused by childhood obesity. His narrative was useful but can also be found to be a bit boring.

Another supporting material which he should have used was visual aids. A few pictures, and maybe even graphics would have essentially painted the perfect picture of the epidemic that is childhood obesity in America.

Explanation: Although the writer's narrative was very expressive, the speech would be much more comprehensive with the use of visual aids and statistical charts.
