Financial Difficulties: Some people find it difficult to pay school fees and other necessary amenities because university costs more than the high school which most students need for a better stay in university.

Pregnancy: Because of sudden independence, most female students involved themselves in unwanted pregnancy and this could be a cause for most female students to drop out especially when no one can help them out.

1. Engage and Partner with Parents: A student who is on the verge of dropping out of university and discuss with his parent and such parent will encourage the student and check up on him or her constantly and also give parental advice.

2. Cultivate Relationship: Lecturers should cultivate a good relationship with students and where they find a student lacking, they can offer help by giving extra classes and such students will get better.

3. Make learning relevant: Learning should be made relevant by creating a good environment. Students should try to make learning important and have a positive mindset toward learning.
