Earth's rotation shapes the direction that winds blow is called as Coriolis effect
Explanation:
Coriolis effect is a kind of force that acts on a mass by using a inertial force.
When earth rotates in its axis, the air that covers the earth also flows in a direction which is mainly caused by Coriolis effect.
When the difference between pressure increases, wind flow becomes strong.
This force acts at right angle of direction to pressure gradient force, which causes movement of wind in northern hemisphere and left in southern direction.
During low pressure, the wind flows in a clock wise manner and during high pressure, it moves in anti clock wise manner.
