Answer:

side lengths can form a triangle

21 cm, 41 cm, and 60 cm..

I'll be solving this by using the Triangle Inequality Theorem: a+b>c, a+c>b, and b+c>a

A. 54 mm, 65 mm, and 120 mm: 54=a, 65=b, 120=c and 54 + 65 > 120 so it's false.

B. 12 in, 43 in, and 56 in: 12=a, 43=b, 56=c, 12 + 43 > 56 so false

C. 16 ft, 24 ft, and 42 ft: 24=a, 16=b, 42=c, but 16 + 24 > 60 so it's false

D. 21 cm, 41 cm, and 60 cm: 21=a, 41=b, 60=c

21 + 41 > 60

21 + 60 > 41

41 + 60 > 21

It equals all three formulas so D is the right answer.

Hope this helps, now you know the answer and how to do it. HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL DAY! As well as a great Valentines Day! :-)
