I would respond to the manager by bringing to his notice the following points:
- The prototyping methodology does not have as many possibilities of experimenting as the Waterfall methodology has.
- It is difficult to change the initial steps taken in the project if the project is developed using the prototyping methodology.
- Prototyping-based methodologies are not well suited to detailed analysis and design of complex projects.
- It is difficult to find the lacunas in the project after using the prototyping methodology.
