Germline manipulation process takes when DNA is altered in a sperm or egg.
The process in which the sequence of cells develop into eggs and sperm.
The inherited material which is got from egg or sperm is transferred to Offspring.
As the genes are passed from one generation to another the DNA altered in one generation will have a long-lasting sequence.
The engineered embryo when develops to adult and gives birth to a baby the same DNA gets transferred to the born baby. Thus it keeps transferred from one generation to another.
Germline manipulation might be controversial because it can rid the gene pool of bad traits like Low emotional intelligence, Chronic sarcasm, Inflexibility Impatience.
For this reason, Germline manipulation is not yet done on humans.
