Contingency theory is a type of leadership based on the belief that leaders are most effective when they make their behavior dependent on situational forces, including group member characteristics .
The Contingency theory is the Fiedler theory and he grouped the situational variables into three areas they are

These above three variables help in knowing that whether the situation is favorable or not .
