I’m struggling in dimensional analysis. I’m trying to convert 17.6 mm^2 to in^2. I understand first we know 1 in = 2.54 cm. Then how do you convert from cm to mm.
17.6 [tex]mm^{2}[/tex] * [tex]\frac{1 cm^{2} }{10 mm^{2} }[/tex] * [tex]\frac{1 in^{2} }{6.4516 cm^{2} }[/tex] = 0.02728005 in^2. You have to square the value of 2.54 to convert cm to cm^2.
