The founding fathers said that the second amendment is the backbone on which all the other amendments stand. (Read the federalist papers) guns by themselves are not inherently dangerous, they don’t become dangerous until they’re in the hands of people with bad intentions. The same can be said for knives, sticks, baseball bats etc. And finally gun free zones are targeted more by criminals because they know the people in those zones are less likely to be able to defend themselves against the criminals gun. There’s just a few reasons they shouldn’t be.
