The Europeans brought with them several types of new technology that would positively impact the lives of Natives. They brought and introduced them to cloths, tools, and firearms. They were also introduced to new animals and foods that did not grow in the Americas as the time. However, the Europeans’ arrival had many negative impacts. The biggest was disease. The Natives had never been exposed to many of the diseases Europeans carried, leaving them more vulnerable to exposure, and many became ill or died. In addition, many Natives had their land conquered or taken by European settlers looking to make it their own.
