Base of the triangle = 8 ft

Height of the triangle = 6 ft

                               [tex]$=24[/tex]

Area of the triangle = 24 ft²

Radius of the semi-circle = 10 ÷ 2 = 5 ft

The value of π = 3.14

Area of the semi-circle = [tex]\frac{1}{2}\times\pi r^2[/tex]

                                      [tex]$=\frac{1}{2}\times3.14 \times5^2[/tex]

                                      = 39.25 ft²

Area of the semi-circle = 39.25 ft²

Area of the figure = Area of the triangle + Area of the semi-circle
