Answer:

a) SIMILARITY :Reflection involved a change in direction of waves when they bounce off a barrier while refraction of waves involves a change in the direction of waves as they pass from one medium to another.

DIFFERENCES: Reflection is when light bounces off an object, while refraction is when light bends while passing through an object.

b) black object, like a t-shirt, absorbs all the wavelengths in white light and reflects none. As the shirt absorbs all the light coming from sun it gets converted to other forms of energy, usually heat, and then emitted by the shirt. The darker the object, the better it emits heat, because it’s a better absorber of light, therefore causes heat. Whereas a white object, for example T-shirt, appears white because it reflects all the different wavelengths and absorbs little to no light. It doesn’t absorb much energy, therefore puts off little to no heat, therefore the T-shirt will feel cooler on a sunny day than the black T-shirt which will be hotter.

c) Light can be described or modeled as an electromagnetic wave. As a model, a changing electric field creates a changing magnetic field. This changing magnetic field then creates a changing electric field and there emanates light.
