We want to perform a division between fractions:

To do so, we transform the division into a multiplication, by reversing the second fraction:
[tex]\dfrac{3}{7}\div\dfrac{2}{3}=\dfrac{3}{7}\cdot\dfrac{3}{2}[/tex]
And we simply multiply numerators and denominators:
[tex]\dfrac{3}{7}\cdot\dfrac{3}{2}=\dfrac{3\cdot 3}{7\cdot 2}=\dfrac{9}{14}[/tex]
