Parallelism is the figurative language that is used in the literary works to evoke a clear and exact meaning out of the texts.
The given excerpt is from Edgar Allan Poe's “The Tell-Tale Heart,” the use of parallelism is seen where the author is providing a similar pattern of habits been performed by the narrator.
