The Upper Paleolithic is on of the three subdivisions of the Paleolithic. It is a period more commonly known as the Stone Age. This period has stretched from 50,000 to 10,000 BC, and is followed by the Mesolithic.
Before this period, or rather in the first two subdivisions of the Paleolithic, the humans had already been anatomically and physically formed as they are in the modern form, but when it came to advancements they seemed to stagnate. This all changed in the Upper Paleolithic when the humans started to be much more innovative, which led to rapid development in their societies and way of life.
As evidence of their development are the much higher diversity of artifacts. The dwellings and clothing were made out of better materials and in better manner. The art started to develop, which can be seen in multiple caves across Eurasia.
