As we know, the first known records of art are cave paintings. They were made by primitive men, as a form of reminder communication and as a record of their activities.
As time went by and the creation of the first civilizations, art assumed new and impulsive goals. These impulses were as diverse as religious, intellectual and cultural impulses, for example. Art in these societies was a way of showing talent and sophistication and was limited to the elite of society.
