The various codes of ethics and standards of practice set forth a general standard of behavior. They do not, and cannot be expected to, provide guidance for every specific question that can arise. Thus, the medical assistant must:
Set moral principles/guides that will direct/govern the pattern of behaviour,choices in decisions as it concerns providing guidance for every specific question that can arise in patient care and general clinical/medical practice.
This will take into consideration doing what is right,making good judgement applying practical wisdom for the right solutions.
