It wasn't Minos who told him that the plan was dangerous. Minos was the King who imprisoned Daedalus and his son, Icarus. They were put in the center of the labyrinth that Daedalus created. Daedalus crafted wings to himself and his sun, which were attached to them with wax. Icarus however, flew too close to the sun, causing the wax to melt.
