An auto transport truck holds 12 cars. A car dealer plans to bring in 1,150 new cars in June and July. If an auto transport truck is filled for each delivery, except for the last one, how many full truckloads are needed and how many cars will be in the last truckort truck

last one holding : 95 * 12 = 1140...1150 - 140 = 10 <== last one holding 10

95 Full load trucks are needed.

There will be 10 cars in the last truck which is not fully loaded.

Capacity of one   auto transport truck = 12 cars

So  the  Total  number of trucks needed   for   delivery  with full capacity = 1150 /12 = 95.83333333

which means that 95 trucks will be needed for full load.

Also one more truck will be needed , but not with full capacity.

Also, the number of cars delivered by fully loaded trucks = 12[tex]\times[/tex]95 = 1140

Number of remaining cars left = 1150 - 1140 = 10 cars

So the last truck ( not with full capacity ) holds 10 cars.
