The type of computer i would like to begin building will include the following features:
A general purpose computer because it will be serving varieties of purposes.
Window operating system: best compatible with Microsoft office suite.
Portable: for ease during frequent traveling
Microsoft office suite include: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Since i will be having Microsoft office suite and adobe photoshop it minimum request would have to be:
System requirements (minimum)
Operating system: Windows 10
Processor:- Intel qual core
System Memory:- 4gig RAM
Storage:- 500 GB Hard drive space
DirectX 9 or later.
Hence the system requirements could be higher but must not be lower than the above.
The type of computer you would like to begin building, based on the needs of your new job is; NETBOOK
We are told the job duties are;
- Frequent travel
- Maintaining active and personal contact with customers and sales representatives in your district, including setting up conference calls using software such as Microsoft Outlook
- Submitting monthly reports on sales in your district using software such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Maintaining an online presence with clients, making them comfortable with electronic communication as well as face-to-face contact
- Creating, editing, and sharing multimedia presentations, customized for each client, which can be viewed on the web or on your own computer using software such as Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Adobe Photoshop
Now, looking at the job duties above they are synonymous with a sales rep.
Due to the fact that the sales rep needs to maintain contacts with customers and sales representatives, the sales rep would need a portable and slim laptop for this purpose.
Secondly because the sales rep needs an active internet due to the numerous operations highlighted above, it is advisable to build a NETBOOK for such a sales rep.
