Mean is the sum of the data set divided by the number of numbers (sum divided by count), so I added up all the numbers to get 345. Then I counted the number of numbers and got 6. I divided 345 by 6 and got 57.5.
Median is the middle number, so I put the numbers in order from least to greatest, and started crossing off numbers on each end. For example: I crossed off 24, then 147, then 38, then 47 and so on until I found the middle number. Sometimes there will be one median, and sometimes two. If there is one, that is your mean. If there are two (which in this case, there is), find the mean of the two numbers. Add them and divide by two. The two middle numbers were 42 and 47, so I added them and divided by two to get the median of 44.5.
Mode is the number that shows up most often, and sometimes there is no mode. In this case, the mode is 47, because it shows up twice and the other numbers only show up once.
