NEED HELP ASAP!! I AM MARKING BRAINLIEST!!

Two students, Jessica and Nick live in the same city. Jessica lives by the ocean, and Nick lives on the other side of town, far away from the ocean. When they use their anemometers, Jessica’s spins fast, while Nick’s hardly moves at all, even though they take the measurements at the same time on the same day. How can Nick’s and Jessica’s distance from the ocean affect their anemometer results? In your answer, explain wind in terms of air pressure changes.

Respuesta :

Answer:

Nicks doesnt get all the wind that  Jessica does because the wind isnt obscured by buildings and such.

Explanation:

Answer:

The land absorbs much of the sun's energy as well. However, water heats up much more slowly than land and so the air above the land will be warmer compared to the air over the ocean. The warm air over the land will rise throughout the day, causing low pressure at the surface. So the wind will be harder on the coast due to low air pressure.

I just want to clarify that this is not my answer I saw it on another question like this one.

I hope this helps :)
