Respuesta :

Carbon dioxide and water react to produce glucose and oxygen. Chlorophyll absorbs light and convert it into chemical energy.

The roles of light ,carbon dioxide water and chlorophyll in photosynthesis include

Light: The light energy derived from the Sun helps to provide the form of energy to assist in the oxidation of water to generate electrons which is used in the conversion of NADP⁺ to  NADPH and also the conversion of ADP to ATP

Carbondioxide: This helps in the provision of the Carbon molecule which are needed in the formation of Glucose in plants.

Water: Water provides the Hydrogen molecule needed in the formation of Glucose after it is oxidized.

Chlorophyll : The chlorophyll helps to trap solar energy which is needed to oxidize water to release electrons needed for the conversion of NADP⁺ to  NADPH.
