Is it correct to capitalize "Everyone" in the following example or should it be lower case? And is there a rule I can refer to in the MLA book?

Example:

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the class! Please feel free to introduce yourselves.
Sincerely,
Miss Jones

In this example, it would be correct to capitalize the word "Everyone." I can't find a reference in the MLA book, but you should always capitalize the first word and all nouns in the greeting of a letter. This can be found on the Hunter College Rockowitz Writing Center page.
