Respuesta :

Stays the same I promise this is correct if it was decreasing we would start to run out of water a long time ago and if it was increasing we would completely flood and there wouldn’t be enough room in the earth for the water to fit please mark me brainliest <3!!

The amount of water on Earth stay the same.

Water is a substance essential to life and includes rain, groundwater, lakes, ocean etc.

  • The Water cycle is a cycle which describes the overall movement of water from above the earth to the below the surface of the Earth.

Water cycle includes four steps:

  1. Evaporation/Transpiration: The is when water goes into air because of the heat caused by sun
  2. Condensation: This is when water vapor caused by sun forms the cloud.
  3. Precipitation: This is when the cloud is too heavy for the air to carry and then falls back to the earth.
  4. Storage/Collection: This is when the water which falls back is stored or collected such as lakes, groundwater, rivers etc

In conclusion, the cycle of water moves from the fourth step to the first step and continues like that infinitely, thus, the amount of water on Earth stay the same
