Reading out-loud helps you hear your writing mistakes because when reading it you can catch yourself using wrong grammar or spelling when you reach a word that perhaps isn’t spelled correctly. When reading in your mind you can skip over mistakes by reading too quickly. Reading aloud can assist you with the rhythm of your writing, as-well as the pace of the writing. Sometimes things sound better in your head then they do aloud.
