Passive communicators find it more difficult to express their own thoughts, feelings, and/or opinions because they may not want to hurt the other person's feelings or make the conflict worse (or create one, if there isn't a conflict). Aggressive communicators show the image of not caring about the other person's point of view, feelings, thoughts, etc. When communicating, aggressive communicators may not give other people the chance to talk or yell mean hearted words and/or phrases. Assertive communicators are not rude with what they say, but they are serious. Someone who communicates assertively does not act inappropriately during the situation and they firmly stand their ground without hurting the other person in any way.
