Since the scale of dilation is [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex], so the vertical distance between point P and B' would be [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] of 4 that is [tex]\frac{1}{2}(4)=2[/tex].

The horizontal distance between point P and B' would be [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex] of 6 that is [tex]\frac{1}{2}(6)=3[/tex].

Now we will count 3 units to left of point P and 2 units upwards. That will be the position of point B'.
