Explanation:

Answers-

Southeast- hotter and dried, Decrease in mountain snowfall, Increase in severe droughts

Northeast- Hot and wetter, Increase in glacial melting, Heavy precipitation leading to increase run-off, and Increase in sediments

Both- Increase in water evaporation from ocean, warmer temperatures, and Increase transpiration.

If global warming continues there will be unbalance in the water cycle in some areas in the U.S.

The Water Cycle

Global warming is the cause of the increasing temperature and melting of glaciers.

The extensive use of fossil fuels has warmed up our environment, which created a disbalance in the ecosystem.

If global warming continues, the two areas of the U.S. - the northeast and southwest will face challenges related to water.

In the northeast, the water level will increase with the warm temperature and melting of glaciers.

The melting of snow and ice will increase the water level.

In the Southeast, the temperature will get hotter and drought.

Water will be scarce with a decrease in the supply of water.

Therefore we can conclude that both areas will see a change in climate because of global warming.
