Many would feel trapped and go through big mental tolls. Thinking that everyone around around you is against you would be very upsetting. Many may get mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, etc. Just having to work for people that hate you is very nerve wrecking knowing that you could be beaten or killed even if you did a small mistake. Not knowing if it might be your last day or not. Being so nervous to doing something wrong might make you do something wrong. Hearing screams of people dying a few feet away from you because someone doesn't like what type of person you are. You might even see your loved ones being killed. As i said before mental illnesses will most likely form because you're seeing dead bodies everywhere and people that haven't been fed in days. You'll be apart of those people starving, thirsty, and weak. You'll have no energy left to do your tasks but you know if you don't do it you'll get beaten/killed. No one should be motivated by not dying. Just working to avoid being killed in brutal ways. You wouldn't know if you'll die or if everything gets back to normal or not.
