Is there such a thing as morality in "survival” mode? Is a human truly capable of discerning
and acting upon “right & wrong" when enduring great suffering?

Respuesta :

A human, when enduring great suffering will forget morality. Morality is something society made up so everyone can live more peaceful lives, but when trying to survive, the brain forgets morals. For example, a person is drowning, and while panicking, holds onto another person, drowning them.

When a human endures great suffering, it is difficult to be moral if presented with amorous opportunities to escape.

What is Morality?

This refers to the quality or set of values a person has to do the right thing, at the right time.

Hence, we can see that when a person is in survival mode, such as drowning or deep poverty, one can be tempted to behave and act in a dishonest way to save himself and people he loves.
