A 67.5kg person is walking up a flight of stairs which are 15.5m long and 6.25m high in 12.3s . How much power is the person exerting ?

The distance that person walked: sqrt(6.25^2+15.5^2) = ~16.71

The power that person exerted:

P = F x S / T = [67.5 x 10 /(15.5/16.71)] x 16.71 / 12.3 = ~988.59 W
