British appeasement policy is an act of satisfying reasonable demands of dissatisfied powers to maintain peace. It helped the German case because even though it didn’t stop or fix Germany’s expansion in Europe, it wasn’t the root cause of it. Hitler along with the Germans believed that Germany should be ruling all of Europe and Britain's appeasement was the only approach they could think of to stop Germany is expansion because they believed they weren't strong enough to fight the German army.
