PLEASE HELP FAST: The scoop of an excavator holds 26 ft3 of sand. If the capacity of a freight car is 39 tons of sand and we know that 1 ft3 of sand weighs 0.5 tons, how many freight cars can be filled with 120 loads?

So we know that 1 scoop is 26 cubic ft of sand

And 1 cubic ft of sand is 0.5 tons

multiply:

26x0.5 = 13

one car can hold 39 tons

divide:

39/13 = 3

There are 120 loads but we know there are 3 loads per car

divide:

120/3 = 40
