Racial segregation is the situation where people of a certain race are segregated and looked down on so that they do not have a say in the society. In other words, they are oppressed in the society.

With this in mind, we can see that there are some ways which people can be segregated because of their race just like happened to the blacks in America before the Civil Rights Act when slavery was legal and blacks were treated as sub-humans.
