Crime is to be necessary to society because it creates many jobs (police officers, judges, lawyers, etc), reinforces laws, and promotes solidarity among law abiding citizens.
Crime can never be necessary and has never created job opportunities. Rather crime has been caused pains and losses to those who engage into it and to the victims of crime. There is no justification for crime because it truly goes again the norms of a right thinking society.
