The two ways in which HIV/AIDS is unnoticeably spread through transactional sex is by  

  1. Having unprotected Sex.
  2. Having multiple sexual partners.

And this becomes socially unjust to their victims because the victims may not be privy to the sexual history of his/her partner.

  • Having unprotected Sex: This involves, engaging in sexual intercourse without the use of a condom.
  • Having multiple sexual partners: Since transactional sex is motivated by material things, most individual that engages in it had multiple sexual partners’ because of the gains, thereby exposing themselves to HIV infection.

Transactional sex applies to sexual activity where gifts, money or other services are engaged for sex. People that indulge in this act don’t see themselves as prostitutes but most time does not have any affection for their partners. Transactional sex is very rampant in the society today and becomes a common way HIV/AIDS spread.  

Transactional sex happens for a lot of reasons in today society and it is driven by different factors which could be economic, social and political conditions and it is influenced by individual personal needs for survival.

Individual that engages in transactional sex sometimes do not know they are carrier of HIV/AIDS since it doesn’t show for face. They spread HIV/AIDS to their victim primarily by having unprotected sex.
