It was Sara's 9th birthday. She was very upset and couldn't even keep a party. The reason was that her grandmother was sick. She went to the hospital to visit her. She took some food for her. She stayed there for a long time. When she was walking back home, she was alone in the darkness. Suddenly she saw someone following her. She was terrified. He snatched the golden chain from around her neck. She started screaming for help but there seemed no one to help her. Suddenly she saw a young dog come to help her. She felt a relief. The dog scared the thief away. Sara was really happy and impressed by the dog. She bought the dog home and told her mom what had happened and she also was very happy. Sara said that it was the best birthday gift of her life!!!
