Rachel Louse Garson was credited with launching the environmental movement. She was an American Marine Biologist, and conservative author who wrote the book Silent Spring and other texts which represented the advance of the global environmental movement. Silen Spring is an environmental science book and document the adverse environmental effects resulting from the indiscriminate use of pesticides.
