Which landmass is most distorted in this map? A. south africa B. africa C. anatartica D. greenland

The correct answer answer is - C. Antarctica.
By looking at the map, Antarctica appears to be an enormous continent, significantly bigger than any other continent on the planet. The reality though is that Antarctica is is the fifth continent by size, with only two being smaller than it, and with relatively small difference. Asia, Africa, North America, and South America, are all bigger than the frozen continent, with only Europe and Australia being slightly smaller.
The very big distortion of Antarctica appears because the map is not made to cope with the increasing scale, especially because the scale becomes infinite at the poles. By the looks of it, this seems to be a Mercator projection.
