Write and solve an equation to find the amount xx (in dollars) the restaurant needs to earn on Sunday to average $1500 per day over the three-day period. Write your equation so that the units on each side of the equation are dollars per day.

Earnings Sunday - $xxx

Average over 3 day period = $1500
Therefor total over 3 day = $1500 x 3 = $4500
So earnigs friday + Saturday = $1445 + $1624 = $3069
                                                   $4500 - $3069 = $1431 earned on Sunday
