A holistic view is taken when all the aspects of a problem or situation are visualized before a decision or action is taken. Holistic view usually comprises analyzing different factors, such as physicals, psychological, socials, among others. I adopted a holistic view when I decided to study a PhD in biotechnology. I had a job and I was in a serious relationship at that moment, so I decided to get an agreement with my significant other and with my boss at my job. After looking at the different aspects I decided to get married and start my PhD about a project that involve the company where I worked and the University.

A holistic view ensures that one studies a particular thing as a whole in order to understand the thing better.

  • When we look at things from a holistic point of view, it enables us to become better individuals. Recently, I adopted a holistic view in addressing a situation.

  • My cousin came to my place for some days. I left a $10 bill at home but when I returned, I couldn't find it and I was sure that I left it on the table in my room. Rather than jumping into conclusion that my cousin took it, I took a holistic approach in solving the issue. I was calm and later saw it on the floor beside the table where it fell.

In conclusion, by not accusing my cousin of taking it helped in averting an argument.
