Formula

[tex]x=\frac{-b+/-\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}\\ \\[/tex]

a = 2

b = 6

c = 1

[tex]x=\frac{-6+/-\sqrt{6^{2}-4*2*1}}{2*2}[/tex]

[tex]x=\frac{-3+\sqrt{7}}{2}\\ \\x=\frac{-3-\sqrt{7}}{2}[/tex]
