These are known as text citations. You are also required to provide source information on a separate “Works Cited” page at the end of any paper.
3. Cohesion: Cohesive words are words that help to link sentences, paragraphs, and sections of your text. When used correctly, cohesion will make what you read easier to follow and will help build relationships between parts of the writing.
4. Precise Language: Vocabulary that is specific to the topic you are writing or discussing will help the reader understand more about the topic. if used correctly the reader may learn new terminology in your work. In addition, when you are able to use precise language, it builds your credibility, making it clear that you have researched the topic and that you know a lot about the subject of your text.
5. Audience: You should know the audience you plan to write for. Knowing your audience will help you choose the appropriate style, or voice, to write with and will help you to choose concepts and ideas that support your main topic, which will keep the reader interested.
