Who can judge you? each feels differently, but the law of life is movement.
If he sank into his world without accepting any help, he surrendered to life's misfortunes without feeling part of a world where there is movement, there is life, goodness and light, although the conditions are often adverse, there is the possibility of being a different person and help make the world a better place.
The story "The devil makes work for idle hands" simply means that one should not be lazy.
How to write a story
There was a boy named Bob. He was very lazy. When his classmates go to school, he'll prefer to stay at home.
When others graduated, he couldn't due to his laziness. While others got jobs, he couldn't and decided to steal. He was caught and jailed.
This shows that the devil makes work for idle hands.
