MATH QUESTION (FACTORING)!!!! For the question 4x^2 - 4x - 3 I understand that you multiply 4 by -3 you need to find 2 numbers that multiply to -12 and add to -4x I understand that those two numbers are 2 and -6 but heres my question! Do you put the 2 and -6 after it like this: 4x^2 + 2x - 6x - 3 Or do you put the -6 first and 2 after like this: 4x^2 - 6x + 2x - 3 SO BASICALLY HOW DO YOU KNOW WHICH NUMBER TO PUT FIRST????
