Chris took a deep breath; he felt his heart flutter whenever he thought
of Dora. Finally, he put pen to paper: "I love you with all my heart. You
make the sun and the moon rise. You give me a reason to wake up in
the morning. I would climb the highest mountain for you and swim the
widest sea. With eternal love, Chris." He folded the message up and
slipped it into Dora's locker.
Later that day, Dora's best friend, Shelly, opened her locker – which
was right next to Dora's. A note fell out. It wasn't addressed to anybody,
but it was signed by Chris. Chris left me a note? she thought.
